How do the policies of higher-income states affect the quality of life for people living in lower-income states? This question provides the focus for a broad range of books, papers, and articles prepared by researchers at the Center for Global Development, which also hosts the GDN-NA Secretariat.

The Center for Global Development in Washington, DC is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit think tank dedicated to reducing global poverty and inequality through policy-oriented research and active engagement on development issues with the policy community and the public. A principal focus of the Center's work lies in the policies of the US and other industrial countries that affect development prospects in poor countries.
