Cambodian Institute Advances Research in a Context of Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Regional Cooperation

The Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace is an independent, neutral, and non-partisan research institute based in Phnom Penh. CICP promotes both domestic and regional dialogues on issues of peace, democracy, civil society, security, foreign policy, conflict resolution, economics and national development.
CICP's mission involves the pursuit of five sets of target objectives:
ú Enhancing the ability of government officials and the public to make informed decisions about public policy;
ú Participating in and promoting regional and international cooperation;
ú Advocating human rights and advancing democracy within civil society in Cambodia;
ú Promote peace and cooperation among Cambodians, as well as between Cambodians and others on a regional and international basis;
ú Conducting research on development issues that concern Cambodia, and disseminating research findings.
