Canadian Consortium's "Human Security Bulletin" Features Development Research
November 12, 2003
The Human Security Bulletin is the online quarterly publication of the Canadian Consortium on Human Security. The Bulletin comprises an essential part of the Consortium's mandate to facilitate the exchange of information and analysis on human security issues.
Through the Bulletin, the Canadian Consortium on Human Security strives to present policy-relevant human security research being pursued in Canada and around the world, including studies by NGOs and by Human Security Fellowship holders. It offers annotated human security-related resources, such as article and publication abstracts, conferences and seminars, research funding sources, and human security-related jobs.
The consortium publishes the Bulletin quarterly in March, June/July, October, and January.
Available in English and French, research and contributions featured in the Bulletin appear in the original language of submission. Editorials and CCHS-related news, including Fellowship news, appear in both languages. As a matter of editorial policy, the Bulletin emphasizes brevity, concise non-academic writing, and highlights the policy-relevance of the research presented whenever possible.
