Background and Interests:
I completed my Master's degree in Rural Planning and Development at the University of Guelph in 2000. My research involved an examination of the social and political impacts of market crisis and liberalization in the agricultural sector in India.
Since then I have worked with the International Development Research Centre in Ottawa conducting program and project evaluations of medicinal plant projects in India and Nepal. Most recently, I served as the Planning and Evaluation Coordinator with the Ontario Government Ministry of Agriculture and Food. My interests focus on agricultural and uncultivated biodiversity conservation; the organization and management of research; project and program evaluation; community based natural resource management.
