Background and Interests:

International relations/international political economy specialist with an interest in the connections between development and conflict. Previously a college professor , I now work in the Training Program at the United States Institute of Peace. My colleagues and I organize workshops and seminars for practitioners in the fields of humanitarian relief, peace building, conflict resolution, and post conflict reconstruction. We focus on building skills for the non-violent management of global conflicts.
