Getting Research into Practice and Policy
April 10, 2003
This website is a practical resource to support researchers 'get their research into policy and practice' (GRIPP).
It aims to document and disaggregate the processes and strategies used by researchers to maximise the impact of their research on policy and practice.
The contents of the site, and suggested steps or 'components' for 'GRIPP' have evolved with the full participation of colleagues who attended a workshop (http://www.socstats.soton.ac.uk/choices/workshop) and participated in an on-line conference on bridging research and policy.
We aim to have captured the views and perspectives of these participants who included a broad range of researchers, policy makers (from national and regional level governments) and programme managers from developing countries, UK, Europe, and USA.
