University of Waterloo Offers Tenure-Track Appointment in Comparative Politics

The successful applicant will hold a doctorate in Political Science. Candidates' regional specializations should lie outside of the Americas, Russia, and Eastern Europe. Once appointed, the new faculty member will contribute to teaching large introductory classes as well as graduate courses. Ability to use new technologies in the classroom will prove an asset for candidates.
At the Assistant level, the candidate must demonstrate the potential for a strong programme of teaching and research. At the Associate level, the candidate must demonstrate a strong programme of teaching and research, as evidenced by a record of publications and grants. Salary negotiable, but position subject to availability of funds.
