University of Ottawa Offers Two Tenure-Track Appointments in International Development

The Faculty of Social Sciences will make each of these appointments will in one of its academic units -- Criminology, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology. Part of successful candidates' teaching and research activities will take place in the International Development and Globalization Program of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The Faculty of Social Sciences will consider applications from candidates who currently hold a PhD, or will hold one by the time of appointment. Candidates with teaching experience will have an advantage.
Candidates should provide evidence of your research interests in pertinent disciplines. Candidates must have the language skills to teach in both English and French.
The Faculty of Social Sciences may only make these appointments subject to budgetary approval.
No later than 1 November 2003, candidate should forward a letter of presentation, indicating an area of expertise, a curriculum vitae, copies of principal publications, and three letters of recommendation, indicating theposition of interest, to:
